There are few better examples of farce than "Run for your Wife". Like any good farce, this show starts by creating a situation, and then letting it get out of hand. Finally it reaches a point where an ending seems impossible. In this story John Smith, a mild mannered cab driver has found himself with two wives in different areas of town. But, a situation at rest, never stays that way and a problem develops. And, when you try to fix a problem in this situation almost anything can happen. The only thing you'll have to worry about is laughing so hard you'll miss something.

John Smith: (M) Middle aged. Very mild mannered.
Det. Sgt. Troughton: (F) Young Adult. Uptight, hard nosed, cop with a chip on her shoulder and something to prove.

Stanley Gardner: (M) Middle aged. Great character. Lazy out of work friend of John. Great comedic role.
Reporter: (M/F) Good starter role. Pushy reporter.
Det. Sgt. Porterhouse: (M) Middle aged - Older. Good old boy. Great character
Bobby Franklyn: (M) Young - Middle aged. A gay, very gay, man. A great comedic character, and must be played as over the top.
